Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • 1 romaine lettuce (chopped)

For the Dressing:

  • 1 avocado

  • 10 stems of fresh dill

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lemon (freshly squeezed, approximately 3 tablespoons)

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • Dash of black pepper

  • ½ cup water

For Garnish:

  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese (grated)

  • Optional: 2 tablespoons toasted nuts (for added crunch)

 


 

Instructions

1. Prepare the Salad:

  • Wash and chop the romaine lettuce.

  • Place the lettuce in a large bowl.

2. Make the Dressing:

  • In a blender, add the avocado, fresh dill, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and water.

  • Blend until smooth and creamy.

3. Assemble the Salad:

  • Pour the avocado-dill dressing over the romaine lettuce.

  • Toss gently to coat the lettuce evenly.

4. Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.

  • Optional: Add toasted nuts for extra crunch and flavor.

  • Serve immediately as a fresh and creamy side dish.
