Bosc Bliss Salad

A delightful combination of sweet Bosc pears, creamy goat feta, and crunchy candied nuts over a bed of fresh greens, drizzled with a luscious balsamic-honey dressing.

Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • 2 Bosc pears, thinly sliced

  • 5 oz mixed greens (arugula, spinach, or spring mix)

  • ¼ cup pecans or walnuts

  • 2 tbsp goat feta cheese, crumbled

For the Dressing:

  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp honey

  • Dash of nutmeg

  • Pinch of Himalayan salt

 


 

Instructions

1. Prepare the Greens:

Wash and dry the mixed greens thoroughly. Arrange them in a large serving bowl or on a platter.

2. Add the Pears:

Thinly slice the Bosc pears and layer them evenly over the greens.

3. Assemble the Salad:

Scatter the nuts and goat feta cheese over the pears and greens for a touch of sweetness and creaminess.

4. Make the Dressing:

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the balsamic glaze, olive oil, honey, a pinch of Himalayan salt, and a dash of nutmeg until well combined.

5. Dress the Salad:

Drizzle the dressing over the salad. Gently toss just before serving to ensure even coating.

6. Serve and Enjoy:

Serve immediately as a fresh, elegant starter or a vibrant side dish.
